The trip at a glance
There is no railway between Casablanca and Agadir: the ONCF network stops at Marrakech. The choice is therefore between flying, long-distance buses and driving, which makes this route unlike Morocco's other major corridors.

Flying saves a full day if Agadir is your destination. The overnight bus remains the budget option. Driving wins if you want to stop in Essaouira or explore the Souss coast.

By road the route runs via Marrakech and then the A8 motorway to Agadir, with the motorway bypassing the High Atlas crossing. Expect a long driving day and plan breaks.
